Vibrating Fluid-Bed Dryers for crystalline boric acid

VIBRA MASCHINENFABRIK SCHULTHEIS GmbH & Co. has supplied two large drying plants for the extension of a production plant for crystalline boric acid in Turkey. The plants are designed for the production of 8 t/h each of centrifuge-tight boric acid.

The basis of the two plants are two Vibrating Fluid-Bed Dryers with a flow area of 28 m² each and a weight of 30 t each. The dryers are made of stainless steel and have special features:

Vibration frequency and amplitude are adjustable over a wide range
Extremely quiet operation thanks to the efficient two-mass vibration system
Minimal vibration transmission to the construction site
Large working range, made possible by the wide range of ventilation and vibration parameters.

The scope of supply includes the complete air handling equipment as well as the electrical control with measurement and control technology. The dryers were manufactured by VIBRA SCHULTHEIS in Utzberg/Weimar.
