Examples of Applications large scale plant
A large processing and drying plant supplied by VIBRA SCHULTHEIS was successfully commissioned at an international manufacturer’s facility.
At the heart of this plant are four vibrating and static fluid-bed dryers. Each dryer is assigned to a different production line and rated for a maximum product throughput of 8000 kg per hour of plastic pellets. The fluidizing plate areas, between 2 and 8 square meters in size, are adapted to the production quantities of the various plastic qualities. Special silos are installed downstream of the fluid-bed dryers for the long-term product treatment that is also required.

The scope of supply for the drying plant included the complete air handling equipment for air conditioning and dust removal as well as all instrumentation and control technology, the pneumatic conveyors and the silos.
