Fluid-Bed Cooler with integrated screening section
Several type VSK fluid-bed coolers with an integrated screening section, also referred to as screen coolers, were delivered to a chemical plant in China.
These machines are used to cool plastic pellets and simultaneously remove dust, so that easy-to-store pellets with only a minimum of fines are obtained at the end of the process.
The coolers have an effective area of about 4000 x 1250 mm and are driven by DV series vibrating motors that are suitable for continuous duty. Screening machines from the SRK series, proven a thousand times over, are installed upstream of the cooling process for prescreening oversizes and fines.
